What We Believe

Salvation

  • We believe that you must be saved to get into heaven and that The Bible clearly explains how to be saved. (Romans 10:9 & 10)

  • We believe that Heaven is a gift available to everyone, but just like any other gift, it must be received. (Luke 9:19‐31)

  • We believe that once we are saved, The Name of Jesus gives us victory over our enemy, the devil. (1 John 3:8)

  • We believe that everyone has to deal with “the sin issue” and  we need God’s help to overcome that way of thinking. (Romans 5:12)

God

  • We believe in The Holy Trinity (God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit). (Matthew 3:16 & 17)

  • We believe that Jesus Christ was supernaturally born of a virgin. (Matthew 1:23)

  • We believe That Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He is the only way to salvation. (Acts 4:12)

  • We believe that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. And we also expect to see God move in our services. (Acts 5:12, Acts 19:11 & 12)

  • We believe that Jesus is coming back just as He said He would in The Bible. (1 Thessalonians 4:13‐18)

The Bible

  • We believe that The Bible is The Word of God. (Psalms 119:89, 2 Timothy 3:16)

  • We believe that God desires spiritual growth and maturity for every person; that we should all pray, study His Word, and be connected to a local church. (Acts 2:39)

The Church

  • We believe that as a church we are called to tell people about Jesus, teach them about who they are in Christ, and show them how to live successfully in God’s will. (1 Timothy 2:15)

  • We believe that every person is called to live victoriously in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

  • We believe in praying for people and we believe in the ministry of “laying on of hands” as The Bible defines it. (Hebrews 6:2, Acts 8:7)

  • We believe in praise and worship as they are defined in The Word of God. (John 4:23 & 24)

  • We believe that faith is important and that without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11: 1‐6)

  • We believe in in sowing and reaping, and that God honours our tithes and offerings. (Malachi 3:10‐12, Luke 6:38)

  • We believe that The Bible is The Word of God. (Psalms 119:89, 2 Timothy 3:16)

  • We believe That Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He is the only way to salvation. (Acts 4:12)

  • We believe that our Pastors are a gift to our church and that they hear from God. We respect and honour them as The Bible instructs. (1 Peter 5:1‐3)

  • We believe that we can’t do it alone and we need God’s help. We also believe that we need willing people to help us do what God has called us to do here in Dundalk and around the world. (Acts 6:2 & 3)

  • We believe that what The Bible says is still relevant today, some for example and some to be proclaimed to The World. (Hebrews 6:1 & 2)

3 Baptisms

  • We believe in the 3 Baptisms unique to the local church:

  • Baptism unto salvation (Acts 8:12)

  • Baptism in the Holy Ghost, which is the power that we receive with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 10:44‐46)

  • Water baptism (Acts 8:36, Hebrews 6:2)
